Structure and Esthetics

Something that was never explained to us kids when I was in school is why math mattered in the real world. Some of us figured it out for ourselves eventually, but it usually it took a couple of years.

This program is a fine concrete example of how important math is in structure and esthetics. It may be a little above the heads of 10 year olds like my granddaughter who's just in the process of learning and her 70 something grandma who's been in the process of forgetting for quite awhile.

It's just so so fascinating. Why can't schools get the message through to more kids, especially the girls?
