White House Seal of Approval

Contrary to the title of the UK Mail Online article, the pizza men say they are flying in on their own dime. IMO this sounds like a promotion to introduce the Pi franchise. I read some where that Reggie Love, the One's personal assistant and man of all work, is throwing this party for White House Staffers and footing the bill himself. Perhaps he's a partner/investor in the new venture and the One will get a cut.

It will feature his signature dishes - ten deep dish and ten thin crust creations. [Pretty skimpy pizza servings: 20 pies/8 slices per = 160 pieces for 140 dinner guests?]

He is also planning a pizza especially for the president - the Hyde Park topped with chicken ans hot sauce.

John also told me that Chris Sommers is one of the most dedicated people he knows to the environmental cause.

* In fact, his restaurant buys carbon credits from a wind farm in Colorado.
* Not only that, they recycle about 75% of their waste.
* Not only that, John himself is going into the green building business. You couldn't find a worse case for environmental hypocrisy.

Finally, Barack Obama isn't saddling the American taxpayer with the tab for this feast. He's picking up the tab, for local ingredients, out of his own pocket.
