While looking for something entirely different, I came across this adorable picture of an old fashioned book shelf and thought I'd post it as a reminder of what books used to look like with their battered leather covers and wonderful tissue-y paper and gorgeous illustrations. Thanks to monix for reminding us about them.
May they ever be preserved not only in our hearts, but in safe places where they'll be always available for future generations to admire and revere long after we've completely switched over to electronic media.
