The Dead Tell No Tales

It's always been a source of amusement to me that McVeigh was dispatched from this vale of tears with an almost embarrassing dispatch,  especially by a bunch of lefties who are against capital punishment and hold candlelight vigils at the executions of the most brutal murderers. Surprisingly, there was none for McVeigh, nor were there 20 or 30 years of appeals.

Odd that.

If one didn't know better, one might think they wanted him out of the way before their narrative could be questioned.

Now at the anniversary of that tragic event, the media, with former President Clinton's giddy assistance, are conspiring with the socialists in power to re-introduce the old canard that the bombing in Oklahoma City in 1995 was the work of the VRWC when it was obvious then and even more obvious now, that the opposite is true.

Here's a nice roundup of the facts.

FTA  In his report The Oklahoma City Bombing: Was There A Foreign Connection? (.pdf), International Relations Committee chairman Dana Rohrabacher (R - California), presents evidence suggesting that Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols may have been assisted in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building by "Middle Easterners" and "a German national living at an extremist compound in eastern Oklahoma."

The bomb exploded in front of the Murrah Building on April 19, 1995, killed 168 people, including 19 children, and injured countless others. To date, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols remain the only persons convicted of the crime. McVeigh was executed by lethal injection on June 11, 2001. Nichols is now serving a life sentence in a Florence, Colorado supermax prison.

Throughout his trial and appeals, McVeigh contended the FBI had concealed evidence that he and Nichols had actually acted as part of a larger group of conspirators.
