Quelle Surprise?

It's not a surprise that these two have reconciled (that was the plan all along), the surprise is that it's so early in the campaign cycle. Reason may be that dems think McCain is a shoo-in now, so they might as well start smearing him instead of each other.

I wish everybody on the right would end their "remarks" pointing out McCain's deficiencies or apostasies, to use Krauthammer's word, with an emphatic statement that
they plan to vote for the Republican candidate in November NO MATTER WHO IT IS!

Those on the right who plan to stay home (or even worse vote for a third party candidate) if the Republican candidate doesn't conform to their version of conservatism aren't sending a message to anybody, they're electing the Democratic ticket which right now looks like it will be Clinton/Obama.
