The Anchoress (click above) has a lot of good links and sensible opinions*.There has to be a brokered convention for the Democrats because Hillary and Obama need a platform ( literally and figuratively) to kiss and make up. Neither can win in November without the other.
However, if McCain chooses Condi for VP (and she agrees to do it esthusiastically), I believe they will win handily.
*Sensible opinions means she agrees with me.

I have to say, I am far less impressed with Miss Rice now than I was four years ago. She seems to have been assimilated by the State Department.
Me too, but we have to work with what we have. Would you prefer Huckabee or Romney or, even worse, Lieberman or Crist?
He could pick Duncan Hunter, who's a reasonable conservative. Or Michael Steele. There's not a whole lot but a decent amount of old line conservatives available, all of whom would be better than Rice. But I suspect Huckabee will be selected.
