Connecting the Dots

Got a brainstorm this morning.

A lot of the world is in turmoil while the president spends the weekend in Palm Springs with his decorators (not hyperbole, his actual decorators).

Then it hit me, he's already resigned and moving on to the next phase in his life.

He has a multi-million dollar beach front compound in Hawaii his commerce secretary bought for him and where better than Palm Springs for their mainland vacation home.  There'd be no lack of willing and grateful cronies waiting in the wings to make it happen -- ditto one of those fabulous New York penthouses, just in case the UN calls.

Just a matter of timing before the people running him and the rest of us release the details -- probably when they declare martial law and blame it all on Obama who will be glad to take the rap since neither he nor his beautiful beard care about that boring stuff and their going away package will be very very generous, enough to keep their mouths closed even from the grave.

After a very short period of public contrition, our boy will be back in game with no end of prestigious appointments, maybe even UN secretary to keep him globe hopping and basking in the glow of teleprompters for decades to come.

It will also leave the field open for Michelle to become the first female president, especially if Biden names her VP.

Maybe I should send the script to Hollywood before Denzel Washington gets too old to portray him.
