Not so fast
Apparently, we've been given another chance.
Today my husband and I stood in front of our TV and toasted our new president.
All day long I've been in a state of physical, mental and emotional exhaustion.
Alcohol doesn't agree with me, so part of it could be that, but I think it's more the jolt that came from realizing that perhaps, and it's certainly not a sure thing, my grandchildren can live in the United States of America I knew and loved so much.
Update: Spike Lee, Humanitarian Extraordinaire, talks trash.

The question being, do your grandkids wish so?
How can they know? I believe a well known Greek philosopher some many centuries ago discussed this question in a parable of the cave.
